Artful Adventures Watercolor Flower

As scrapbookers, stampers, carmakers and just crafters in general, we are often looking for ways to use products in our stash!  Join me on another artful adventure this week at we explore some water color techniques. Today we’ll  look at ink pads and re-inkers and using a water brush.

This is an easy way to add a little different look to some of your projects.

  1. Make sure you experiment with your dye based inks before actually using them. Some are less color-fast than others. Distress inks are great for this technique. Marvy inks, not so much. I haven’t tried the hero arts ones yet.

    • Heather, that is a good point! Thanks for mentioning it. As you may have noticed, I used the classic ink pads from Stampin’Up! for this demo, and work well for this technique.
